your missionWe’re looking for a Head of Legal & Compliance for Mogo and Primero in Latvia, part of Eleving Group. You’ll manage legal and compliance risks, advise management and business teams, oversee contracts and regulatory matters, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

your responsibilities
- Lead the company’s legal and compliance function
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Identify, assess, and manage legal and compliance risks
- Provide practical legal advice and support to management and business teams
- Develop and maintain internal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Oversee contracts, legal documentation, and regulatory matters
- Cooperate with regulators, external legal advisors, and other stakeholders
- Promote a strong compliance culture across the organization
what we're looking for
- Higher education in Law
- Solid experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably within the financial sector
- Strong knowledge of Latvian and EU regulatory requirements
- Experience in managing legal and compliance risks
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical business solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of responsibility, independence, and attention to detail
- Fluent Latvian and English language skills
