your responsibilities
- Monitor monthly portfolio performance across Eleving Europe countries: paid-on-time rates, DPD bucket migration, cure rates, roll rates, PtP performance, and portfolio composition
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into portfolio data to identify patterns, anomalies, and root causes behind performance deviations, going beyond headline metrics into borrower segments, vintage cohorts, geography, and product splits
- Diagnose the operational and structural drivers of performance changes, linking data patterns to actions taken or not taken: communications, agent behavior, strategy shifts, portfolio mix changes
- Develop structured performance overviews and action proposals for country DC teams; present findings to country DC heads and actively support the decision-making and implementation process
- Follow through on agreed actions, track progress, escalate where implementation stalls, and close the loop analytically
- Manage a pipeline of 3–5 active improvement topics across multiple markets simultaneously, prioritizing by financial and operational impact
- Assess whether recurring patterns across countries justify escalation to the BI reporting team for systematic monitoring
- Contribute to the development of analytical frameworks and diagnostic methodologies for the Europe Hub DC function
what we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in an analytical role within debt collection, consumer lending, or fintech credit risk; must already understand how collection portfolios behave and what moves key metrics
- SQL, advanced and non-negotiable: ability to independently write, optimise, and troubleshoot complex queries against large databases; experience with data warehouse environments required
- Excel, advanced: pivot tables, financial modelling, structured output for non-technical audiences
- Domain knowledge, required: DPD buckets, roll rates, cure rates, PtP dynamics, vintage behaviour, and the operational levers that move them
- Presentation and stakeholder management: ability to structure and present complex analytical findings clearly to country DC leadership and to support the proposal and decision-making process
- Self-directed, structured, and intellectually curious: capable of defining the right analytical question independently and sustaining focus across multiple concurrent improvement topics
- Fluent in English; additional European language a plus
