your responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage credit provisioning models in line with IFRS 9 and related standards
- Oversee Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculations on a monthly and quarterly basis, ensuring accuracy in reporting
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify risk trends and recommend provisioning strategies
- Conduct model validation, back-testing, and stress-testing activities
- Prepare high-quality risk reports and deliver insights on credit risk trends and portfolio quality to management
- Collaborate with Finance, Credit Risk, Data Science, Product, Collections, and IT teams to enhance risk frameworks and system functionality
- Support budgeting processes, financial statement alignment, and provide responses to auditors and regulators
- Mentor junior analysts and ensure continuous improvement of risk modeling practices
what we're looking for
- University degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of credit risk modelling, ECL frameworks, and financial analysis
- Practical experience with IFRS9, BASEL standards, and credit provisioning processes
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel; experience with Python or R is a strong advantage
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while being flexible and solution oriented
- Fluent English
